The Haglof Presler type increment borers are used for taking core samples from all types of wood, not just from trees. Replacement augers, extractors and handles are available. Our stocked borers are the standard 5.15mm core and 3-thread which engage the wood faster. 2-thread borers for Hardwood and alternative diameters and depths are available to special order. If you aren't experienced in taking samples we strongly recommend you order and read the 'Increment Core Sampling Techniques' book.
